How does Invisible Fence work?

First of all, Invisible Fence will work. The system has a money back guarantee.
The system is made up of a transmitter (that is installed typically in your garage), wire (that is installed 5-7 inches deep in your yard), and a digital collar for each cat or dog that you are trying to contain. Your pets are trained by our professionals to turn away from the warning signal that is produced as your pet gets close to the wire. We also use other methods of training your pets such as basic commands and flags. If your pet does not turn away, they will be corrected (shocked). Each digital collar is set and customized to your pet depending on their individual need. The correction will not hurt your pet. But, it will surprise them. The concept is to create respect for the fence. You will be amazed how quickly they will learn the system. Our Perfect Start training Program typically takes about 5 days to ensure total containment.

  1. How is Invisible Fence different from other underground fences? Also will the shock be painful to my pet?

  2. There are many differences between Invisible Fence Systems and Retail Systems. First of all, the equipment is vastly different. Invisible Fence Systems have more than 50 settings on the collar (this allows us to customize the settings for your dog or cat), Life-Time Warranty, and high quality equipment that will stand up to any challenge that your dog or cat can provide. Retail Systems typically have only 3 or 4 settings on the collar (this can cause you to over correct your pet), a limited warranty, and the lowest quality equipment. The second point of difference is installation. If you work with an Invisible Fence Dealer, they will profesionally install your fence with a trencher and concrete saw. With a retail system, you are left to install the system yourself. If you do not have the right equipment, you could spend 2 to 3 times longer installing the system. The last major difference is Training. An Invisible Fence Dealer will provide a certified trainer to ensure containment. In my dealership, we provide a 100% money back guarantee that we will be able to train your pet. If you purchase a retail system, you will be on your own. I take numerous calls every month from unhappy people who have bought a retail system, but do not have the experience or knowledge to train their pets. Of course, the Invisible Fence System has a greater cost, but we are confident that you will agree that it is a Fantastic VALUE! Call us today for a free estimate (800)329-DOGS(3647).

With regard to the shock being painful, it will not harm your pet in any way. The shock is produced from static electricity. The shock or correction will surprize your dog or cat, but it will not hurt them. The concept is to create a healthy respect for the Invisible Fence. 4 out of 5 veterinarians recommend Invisible Fence.

  4. Physical Dog Fences can provide adequate containment and keep other dogs out of your yard. Underground Dog Fences (Invisible Fence) provide containment and a great value. Wireless fences are great for small homes or campers. Although, sometimes ducting and wiring can effect the consistency of the signal. Another factor to consider is maintenance. Physical fences require regular
